Xiaoran (Sharon) Liu‘s recent conference paper “AI Simulation by Digital Twins: Systematic Survey of the State of the Art and a Reference Framework” [preprint], which she published at the 1st International Conference on Engineering Digital Twins (EDTConf) received the high distinction of being invited for extension in the EDTconf 2024 Special Section of the International Journal on Software and Systems Modeling (SoSyM).
SoSyM is the flagship journal of the model-driven engineering community. A selection of the best papers at the conference receive an invitation to be extended to journal papers, which makes this invitation a high honor, and a remarkable feat from Sharon who just started her research career and already publishing at top venues.
