I am honored to receive a Best Reviewer Award from the International Journal on Software and Systems Modeling (SoSyM) for my 2025 efforts. The award comes after two similar awards from 2022 and 2024.
Peer review, just like many other forms of service are volunteer activities without the expectation of public recognition. We dedicate our time because we believe we can help improve the quality of our scientific venues and outlets.
Feedback, such as this award goes a long way. It reminds me that reviewers are appreciated in this community, which, in turn, fosters confidence in the reviews I receive on my own work. I believe the close-knit model-driven engineering community understands this better than any other community, and I feel privileged to be part of it.
I appreciate this recognition and I’m always genuinely happy to contribute to the success of the journal.
